
ABANDONMENT PROGRAM
OVERHAUL
When a prospect applies for a Personal Loan through Prosper and is approved, but fails to originate (accept their loan), they are put into the “Abandonment Journey”. This program takes them through a 30-day, multi-touch series with intricate paths depending on their engagement with the campaigns. I worked with Prosper Email Marketing Team to map out this current journey and identify messaging gaps and opportunities. This exercise resulted in a total overhaul of the entire journey.
Results
My team and I built a new strategy, journey flow, and brand new campaigns from the ground up. When tested in an 80/20 split against the original series for 2 months, Prosper’s Finance team concluded the new series is on target to bring in an additional $36M annually in incremental loan origination revenue.
